ACTORS NEEDED ASAP

We need actors for the following two films:

"Sticky Pinecones" (Short)

JONATHAN – Male, 40's, a single yet successful business owner who enjoys his time alone. [LEAD] - [Click for Sides HERE]

WOMAN – Female, 30's, a single mother with a career, who takes walks in the fresh air with her daughter and dog. [SUPPORTING] - [Click for Sides HERE]

YOUNG GIRL – Female, 6-10 yrs. old, an autistic shy child, enjoys walking dog with mother close by. [SUPPORTING] - (There are no lines for this role. A child on the autistic spectrum is preferred, but not required. We hope to cast a real mother/daughter relationship for the roles. Please submit a video of child sharing their name, a short story, participating in an outdoor activity, looking at the camera or not and being themselves.) - [Click for Sides HERE]

"Touch the Water" (Feature)
 
MALINDA – Female, 55-75 yrs. old, to play a 69-year-old woman who lives alone and enjoys visiting with friends at the Senior Day Center. She has an endearing personality and is happy to just live to see another day. No big hopes and dreams or purpose in life. Looks for the good in others and likes routine. Happy in the moment. DYAMI – Male, 18-30 yrs. old, to play a mid 20's man who works at the local Senior Day Center. He loves to help others succeed with their dreams as he chases down his own. [SUPPORTING] - [Click for Sides HERE]
 
JESSICA – Female, 40-50 yrs. old, to play a 44-year-old Native American woman as Daisy’s daughter and only child. A successful lawyer with husband and no kids. Her work and husband are her life. She feels responsible for her mother’s care, but has very little time for her even though she knows she should do more. [SUPPORTING] - [Click for Sides HERE]
 
RUBY – Female, 65-105 yrs. old, to play a 80+ year-old woman who visits the Senior Day Center often. She's grumpy, loves to argue, tease and sometimes is just down right mean. She has a sharp mind, but negative outlook on life and is often in pain whether real or imagined. Others put up with her because she is so old and fragile. She does have a rare nice streak now and again. [SUPPORTING] - [Click for Sides HERE]

Old BOB – Male, 65-100 yrs. old, to play a 70'ish-year-old man who visits the Senior Day Center often. He loves to flirt with the ladies, wear crazy clothes and often has moments of dimentia. [DAY PLAYER] - [Click for Sides HERE]

YOUNG DAISY – Female, 2-6 yrs. old, to play a 3-year-old Native American child who is afraid of large water and loud noises. Loves to be in her parent’s arms. Curious and a sponge! [DAY PLAYER] - [Click for Sides HERE]

ADDITIONAL WOMAN ROLES – HEIDI, STORE CLERK, NURSE, ASST. LIVING TOUR GUIDE – Females, 18-60 yrs. old, to play one of the characters listed. Each are minor characters with a few lines of dialogue in a few scenes. [DAY PLAYERS] - [Heidi Sides HERE] - [Store Clerk Sides HERE] - [NURSE]

ADDITIONAL MEN ROLES – SWIM INSTRUCTOR, DOCTOR – Males, 18-60 yrs. old, to play one of the characters listed. Each are minor characters with a few lines and scenes. [DAY PLAYERS] - [Swim Instructor Sides HERE] - [Doctor Sides HERE]
 
KID ROLES – KIDS CHOIR - Girls & Boys ages 7-12 to play/sing in a children's choir. Kids will sing 2 Christmas songs at the Senior Day Center. They need to be brave enough to sing, but not professional singers. [DAY PLAYERS] [There are no speaking parts, so please have your child sing their favorite Christmas song. Have them also answer 2-3 questions about someone they admire.]

How to Submit Your Audition

1. Current photos (1 head shot, 1 full body shot) (small file sizes preferred)
2. Contact information (If under 18 include date of birth and guardian's name)
3. Resume, if available; we at least need to know where you reside (city/town and state)

4. Self Recorded Submission (Send LINKS of your videos, we ONLY accept YouTube or Vimeo)

Steps to self recorded submissions:
A. Download the sides (click on link in the character details)
B. Record 2 different reads for the same character (Show us your acting range as an actor) with a phone or camera
C. Please send us VIDEO LINKS to your audition reads via YouTube or Vimeo ONLY. (We do NOT want the actual video file as this will clog our email). (If you don't have YouTube or Vimeo, please setup an account. They are free. Or borrow a friends account. We will NOT look at your submission if video is not in a link.)

ACTORS & EXTRAS

Holt Hamilton Films LOVES actors; especially old and young Native American Indian and First Nations actors. In fact, we have given speaking roles to over 100 first time actors in our theatrically released feature films. It's our goal to curate the most expansive list of indigenous male and female actors, stretching across North America and Canada, in the world!

If you crave to act, here is what we suggest:
  1. Work hard to learn what it takes to act and become an actor.
  2. ACT!  Get out there, and try out! Audition...and audition...and AUDITION!
  3. "Like"  and "Follow" our Holt Hamilton Film's Facebook Page, which will keep you in the know regarding future casting calls.
  4. "Subscribe" to our YouTube channel and watch all our videos on acting and filmmaking tips. The more you know about the film process, the better you will be able to perform amongst the on-set film chaos.
  5. Subscribe to our newsletter to get ALL audition notices and EXCLUSIVE updates.
  6. Don't give up! If at first you don't succeed, then revisit 1 & 2 again, and again and again and... You CAN do it!​
