ACTORS NEEDED ASAP - "Touch the Water"
We need the following characters:
1) DAISY – Female, 60-95 yrs. old, to play a 75-year-old Native American woman who lives alone and enjoys weekly visits to the Senior Day Center. She’s a retired English professor who maintains a vibrant mind, but struggles with a body that’s breaking down fast. She’s spiritual, artistic and dreams of having grand children before it's too late. She searches for a greater purpose in life. [LEAD ROLE] - [Click for Sides HERE]
2) MALINDA – Female, 55-75 yrs. old, to play a 69-year-old woman who lives alone and enjoys visiting with friends at the Senior Day Center. She has an endearing personality and is happy to just live to see another day. No big hopes and dreams or purpose in life. Looks for the good in others and likes routine. Happy in the moment. 3) DYAMI – Male, 18-30 yrs. old, to play a mid 20's man who works at the local Senior Day Center. He loves to help others succeed with their dreams as he chases down his own. [SUPPORTING] - [Click for Sides HERE]
4) JESSICA – Female, 40-50 yrs. old, to play a 44-year-old Native American woman as Daisy’s daughter and only child. A successful lawyer with husband and no kids. Her work and husband are her life. 5) RUBY – Female, 65-105 yrs. old, to play a 80+ year-old woman who visits the Senior Day Center often. She's grumpy, loves to argue, tease and sometimes is just down right mean. She has a sharp mind, but negative outlook on life and is often in pain whether real or imagined. Others put up with her because she is so old and fragile. 6) Old BOB – Male, 65-100 yrs. old, to play a 70'ish-year-old man who visits the Senior Day Center often. He loves to flirt with the ladies, wear crazy clothes and often has moments of dimentia. [DAY PLAYER] - [Click for Sides HERE]

10) ADDITIONAL KID ROLES – KIDS CHOIR - Girls & Boys ages 7-12 to play/sing in a children's choir. Kids will sing 2 Christmas songs at the Senior Day Center. They need to be brave enough to sing, but not professional singers. [DAY PLAYERS] [There are no speaking parts, so please have your child sing their favorite Christmas song. Have them also answer 2-3 questions about someone they admire.]

B. Record 2 different reads for the same character (Show us your acting range as an actor) with a phone or camera
C. Please send us VIDEO LINKS to your audition reads via YouTube or Vimeo ONLY. (We do NOT want the actual video file as this will clog our email).
